High Definition Multimedia Interface (“HDMI”) is a technology for connecting monitors and digital projectors to computers. An HDMI cable is capable of carrying both video and audio signals. This newer, improved technology is replacing the use of VGA connections.
The HDMI plugs and sockets are “keyed” and the cable is bi-directional (can be plugged in either way around).
