High Definition Multimedia Interface (“HDMI”) is a high-speed interface for audio & video data. This newer, improved technology is replacing the use of VGA connections which can only transfer video signals (and at a slower rate).

HDMI connectors are used for PC’s, laptops, monitors, televisions, data projectors, DStv decoders, PlayStations and more.

The HDMI connectors and sockets are “keyed”, and the cable is bi-directional (can be plugged in either way around).
